About Me

Hi there! My name is Jordan, and I’m a portrait photographer based in Kamloops, BC, who specializes in anything with people!

I started my photography journey in 2020 and started working professionally in 2022. This leap into professional work led me to work in various environments, including portrait sessions, live events, engagements, and weddings! I’ve even done behind-the-scenes work for music videos and short films. I’ve gained extensive knowledge from these experiences that make me the photographer I am today.

My Style

I have two types of shoots that determine my stylistic choices. For clients that prefer heavily posed and dramatic photos, I converse with them beforehand to ensure that my photos portray them how they want to be portrayed. Whether that’s dramatic and powerful, or light and airy, I take the time to understand how my client’s want to be seen.

My other type of shoot involves capturing fleeting, candid moments that portray real emotions. Whether that’s having families laugh about an inside joke or capturing genuine emotion, my candid photographs make it seem as if I’m not even there.

Testimonials

“Jordan is a hardworking and genuine artist. His dedication to achieving the images you want while still staying true to his personal style sets him apart from other photographers. He works with you to ensure you’re genuinely happy with the images rather than just seeing you as a form of income like some other photographers out there. You can tell he has a real passion for the craft, as well as being an extremely respectful and kind person. I would recommend him without question.”

“Jordan is open to creativity, motivated by his perspective, and defined by his execution. Working with him is comfortable, encouraging and exciting. He’s very receptive to your ideas as a model/client. Oh yeah, and his photos are amazing”

For those of you who are interested, I shoot on a Canon R6 Mk II, alongside an EF 24-70 F/2.8L II USM.

Rest assured that my camera records to two SD cards, protecting your images from corrupted SD cards.
